A minor may be required to obtain verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian before creating an account, entering financial information, accepting terms, purchasing a subscription, or using collaboration features.
Age and location rules
The age of majority and consent requirements vary by state and country. NILBudget may restrict features or request additional confirmation based on the athlete’s age, school, residence, and applicable law.
Privacy and control
Parent or guardian access is permission-based and should be limited to what is appropriate and legally required. Reaching the age of majority may change who controls the account and existing sharing permissions.
No contract approval
NILBudget does not determine whether a minor can enter an NIL agreement and does not replace school, governing-body, attorney, agent, parent, guardian, or court review.
